The grossest thing that I've ever loved
This picture confused me because I thought that the large blue box was part of the Nosefrida. It is the just the case. There is a red mouthpiece clear tube blue filter and clear...I'm going to call it the "applicator" that you put up to the baby's nose.
I examined the nosefrida for a long time before trying it out on my four month old. I wanted to make sure that there wasn't anyway for snot to end up in my mouth. 14 hours of labored breathing the baby's-not mine I decided to give the Nosefrida a go.
Darn if that little disgusting contraption doesn't work! And I know it works because I could actually see the snot collecting in the tube. Yes I gagged a little but baby could breathe! And after all isn' that what they teach you day 1 in parenthood?
Day 1. Make sure baby can breathe.
I still think you'd have to be pretty close to someone to give this as a baby shower gift. No one wants to think of snot on their happy day.

Just okay for me
If you have to share the bathtub/shower with your baby the curtain won't close around this item. We only have 1 bathroom and can't use it for that reason. Would be good if the child had their own bathroom though.

Best Sunscreen Ever!
I love this sunscreen. It is not greasy or smelly or full of crap that no one needs all over the largest organ of their bodies (their skin). I love it especially for my 11 month old daughter. It works wonderfully and I can feel secure knowing that her skin is not absorbiing a bunch of chemicals.
I put Water Babies on her once and she broke out into a head to toe rash. I felt terrible. With this sunscreen that has never happend!

The best wipes on the market - thus far...
We received the chlorine free/unscented brand of wipes at our baby shower because that's what we thought we wanted. What we found in practical use was that it took too many sheets to get thru one diaper change the closure on the package easily popped open and the wipes quickly dried out. I decided to try Lansinoh and fell in love immediately: moisturizing sturdy and with simple diaper changes I didn't have to go thru a whole package. The package stays safely closed when you close it.
Our household is primarily fragrance-free and these wipes are scented. I do appreciate that they at least don't have that mass market "baby smell." And yes my nose says thank you for the distraction when dealing with the more complicated diaper changes! Still my dream is for Lansinoh to come out with a fragrance-free/chlorine free version of their amazing product.
Although I wish Lansinoh wipes were cheaper I've found that the cheaper brands weren't really cost-efficient because we went thru those packages quickly and when we used the big brand wipes that also came from our baby shower we had our only incident of diaper rash. I think over the long haul using Lansinoh wipes has actually saved us time and money.
While I'm at it I also want Lansinoh to look into switching to recyclable packaging. Needless to say no wipe (thus far) is perfect. Lansinoh just comes closest in my opinion.

Strengths and weaknesses
I was looking for a safe effective sunsreen for my trip to Southeast Asia this summer. Here are what I think are the strengths and weaknesses for this product
Strengths:
1 Many non-chemical sunscreens actually fail to live up to their SPF but I do think it successfully protected my skin in the worst UV environment. (But I also used hats and such)
2 It is relatively safe for my skin. It didn't make my skin break out.
Weaknesses:
1 THE greasiest sunscreen I ever experienced. It's ok when you're out hiking or at the beach but when I went out to see friends they often commented on how much I was "sweating." When I really did sweat it made the cream turn white and visible (dotty on my face).
2 As it's noted on Skin Deep Cosmetic safety database it's not perfectly safe. While I didn't have any breakouts my face (not my body) got itchy wearing this. But I was able to get around it by putting on a moisturizer before applying this.
3 It's pretty tough to wash off. Though it's not waterproof after I washed my body I could still smell it and see it on my skin (showing up white especially in wrinkly area).
Despite the problems I think I might use it again next summer (at least on my body) because I haven't been able to find a better safe high SPF sunscreen. Other ones don't make my face shiny but make my face look all white.

Big Pretty and Soft.
I purchased these washcloths for my baby boy. I love the size of them they are like the size of regular wash cloths. They are very soft to touch and on baby's skin. Would recommend these washcloths for your baby.

Works great!
As a first time mom I am terrified of the idea of burning my daughter. I love to take really hot showers so my tolerance for water is much higher. This thermometer eases all of my fears. It turns on as soon as it hits water and turns off when it dries. I just give it a few shakes after a bath and it usually turns off. The thermometer beeps when the temperature gets too cold (I think 89 degrees or less) and when it gets too hot (101 degrees or more). If it is in the right range it doesn't make any sounds. It just displays the temperature in both Farenheit and Celcius. As an added bonus it's a super cute design and I know my daughter will love playing with it once she learns knows how to grab things!
One more thing - I hate paying for things that don't offer free shipping but it was totally worth the additional shipping cost and more! I highly recommend it to anyone who is concerned with the temperature of the bath for their children.

Amazing Stuff. Absolute Maternity Necessity.
I discovered this shortly after learning I was pregnant. Bath and Body Works at our mall was consistently out of their cocoa butter stretch mark cream a friend had reccommended. So I was desperate to find a good affordable stretch mark preventative because my sister developed the worst stretch marks I've ever seen during her pregnancy and my mom has quite a lot of them too. I also have some leftover from puberty. I found this stuff online and it was very well reviewed and even used by some celebrities so I decided to give it a go. I also liked the fact that it is all natural sustainable and contained all the ingredients I'd ever heard of using for stretch mark prevention.
I used it every day during my pregnancy (starting at about 12 weeks) after showering and before bed until 3 weeks before my due date and did not get a single mark. The ones on my hips from my teen years pretty much disappeared too. And in addition I never had the slightest itchiness that most of my pregnant friends have complained about (another reviewer said it made her itch so I can only conclude she must be allergic to one of the ingredients). Then I ran out. The store where I've been buying it locally was out of it too. Since I was already so huge and hadn't gotten any stretch marks I decided to buy some of the Tummy Honey Cream which they still had in stock. I immediately noticed my skin was kind of itchy and got worse as it dried out and the day wore on. Then about a week after I stopped using the Tummy Honey Butter I got a stretch mark. It is not a really dreadful dark red or purple one but there it is in all its pinkish brown unsightliness. So of course I went back to the store to see if they had any of the butter yet if not to fix my new stretch mark then at least to soothe this infernal itchiness.
They don't. Which is why I've turned to Amazon to find some quick! Even if my due date is now only 4 days away I suspect it will help and may also fade the little stretch marks starting to show up on my breasts. This stuff is mandatory. I think I'll buy a case next time I find out I'm pregnant so I don't run out. If I have extra it'll make a nice baby shower gift for someone.

The BEST Bath Tub!
We didn't realize just how much our daughter loved the water before we had this tub. It makes bathtime so much fun! We especially love the freedom that this tub offers. The unique molding cradles the baby safely while allowing both of your hands free to bathe. I had tried other tubs which were so much more difficult to manage. One arm was always tied up with supporting the baby- very tiring as she sqirmed vigorously. Also I am amazed at the ingenious design. No matter how our daughter splashes she stays firmly safely reclined. The deeper section allows her the freedom to kick and truly enjoy the water. At first I had teased my husband for picking out the largest and most expensive tub. He thought that it looked like a little baby spa. And I thought where are we going to store it? But this is only a minor drawback. The advantages far outweigh any difficulty of size. Actually we will be able to use the tub longer since our daughter won't outgrow it for quite some time. We think that it makes a great indepensible gift for any parent. A definite must for any Water Baby!

It works great . . . sorta
This is the first time I've written a review and I'm only doing it because I was intrigued by one especially negative review in light of all the positive reviews. I bought the product anyway and quickly discovered that it doesn't work on my toilets. Too easy to pull up the lid and seat and completely rip the lock off the toilet rim - no matter how well attached. At first I thought the product was entirely useless. But I'm happy to report that the problem was easily solved. I bought shelf liner made out of rubber and cut a strip to fit on the rim where I planned to install the lock. I installed the lock over the rubber strip and secured it according to the instructions. Voila! The lock fits snugly on the rim and secures the toilet seat and lid very well. I'm surprised the company doesn't include a rubber fitting with the product as it certainly works and would probably eliminate any complaints.

The only tub to buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't get anything else!!
A friend of mine suggested this tub because of the "hammock feature." Your baby is cradled in a "hammock" that attaches to the tub making it super easy to bathe your newborn. The pads in the tub are soft and they are mold-resistant. It fits in any sink you put it in single or double and it will save your back not having to bend over your own bathtub. I also like how it has a built in bath caddy to put baby's shampoo/soap/toys/washcloths whatever. My only two complaints are that the plug DOES NOT change color when water is too hot. When we used those little floating rubber ducks that have the word HOT on the bottom that turn white when the water is too hot the plug didn't turn white. One day I filled it with scalding hot water (without my baby in it of course) to see if it would change color and it didn't. I guess it doesn't matter anyway since you should ALWAYS check the water temp before putting your little one in it but I thought it would have been a cool feature had it actually worked. My other complaint is that is is bulky and big and if you live in a little house like we do there is no room for it. However I would still not recommend any other tub but this one.

I love the Nosefrida.
The Nosefrida works so well on clearing my baby's nose. It comes with spare filters so you may want to wait to buy these.

Protects Mild Scent Mostly Natural
I picked a tube of this up for $10.99 at our local market after reading on cosmeticdatabase that it's one of the safest and most natural sunscreens on the market. It rated a 0 which is the safest rating.
It comes out of the tube thick and a little gritty as others have mentioned but I had no problem getting it to properly absorb into my skin. It takes an additional five or ten seconds to rub it in thoroughly which smooths out of the consistency and dramatically reduces the "white face" effect. I'm not sure what the big deal is with taking a few extra seconds to rub it in; other reviewers sound like they're in a mighty hurry to rush out into the sun :)
I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because I've only been using it for awhile. So far I like it a lot. The scent is mild (way more mild than most sunblocks I've used) and isn't medicinal at all on me it doesn't leave me with a white/pale face and so far it seems to provide excellent coverage. It does contain trace amounts of dimethicone which is explained on the Badger web site; this single additive is widely used and is considered safe. Overall this is probably one of the very best and safest sunblocks on the market.
Highly recommended especially for those looking to reduce the number of industrial chemicals they're applying to their skin.

does the job
It covers the spout so when my kids stand up they won't hit the metal spout. This covers the spout very well and it can be tightened by pulling on the flipper on either side. Probably won't work with a spout without a shower pull because the whale will just slide off. Easy to wash not very many crevices for mold to grow.
